I was at peebles tonite for a black labrador found in high street, and also a staffie brindle in colour and he was found  in Lamancha.

not much happened today as we are closed to the public on a sun/mon.

Finlay fox is finding his way around his new very large cage but his eyes are not good, Time is a great healer though.

Finlay the Fox.

Finlay Fox.

Finlay Fox.

Afternoon,

Finlay the Fox cub arrived on Monday evening abt 9pm .A very nice couple found him at the side of a road nr Smailholm, kelso . They did wait for abt an hour listening to him barking and crying out but no mummy answered ,so this is where Finlay’s adventure starts ,

In to a cat basket and driven to Arthurshiel rescue centre. He was then transported to the local vet who checked him over ,his eyes are blood shot and it looks like he has had a blow to the head. I brought him back home and cuddled him into a warm cosy cage , he was unaware of any thing going on, just happy to be cosy and fed.

Finlay has been fine so far but as with every wild animal thing happen so fast, He was at the vets again last nite and the vet [a different one] thinks the same head trauma ,at present we are not sure if he can see or hear but after an examination and a jag ,we set off home . He was so happy sitting on the front seat of the jeep .

At the present moment he is barking for his lunch so i will go and feed. He’s now fed and put away to sleep, We are keeping him away for everything and fingers crossed he recovers from his accident and grows into a very handsome wild boy. bye for now shona 🙂
