Good Evening ………..

Hi Everyone,  Thanks to all who turned up for the quiz nite , the six teams seemed to have a good evening. Three men and a little woman have kept there title ,they always win ,thanks to them for handing there prize back to sheena.

Sad news today the wee tawny owl covered in soot hasn’t survived , she lost her battle to live, she was eating fine but was obviously so far down that no matter how much food she was eating it wasn’t going to help.

be back tomorrow with fotos, see u all soon ,shona x

p.s Remember your clocks  go back…… i get a long lie —yes …hope the dogs remember . x

Owl in the Chimney ……

The Tawny owl found in a chimney in Jedburgh is doing well. She has been brushed daily and the soot is slowly disappearing . Today she has been moved into a larger cage with no heat lamp. I plan on releasing her on sunday about 2pm back to the area she was found, and hope she not silly enough to go down anymore chimneys.

The greyhound who’s photo is below  hasn’t been claimed and will soon go up for rehoming..He is very gentle, ok with kids and the people who found him have 2 cats and they had no problems with them either.

I will be back later with a foto of the owl if she sits still long enough. bye shona xxx
