Hawick 2

Good Afternoon…( excuse my rant.. Its Easter !!)

I hope some of you Borders People are having a Good Friday …as I am not.

How many strays can fit in Arthurshiel?….  well, currently NONE !. We are at capacity, so any dogs that are found from now on will have to stay at Police Stations as we are FULL.

We will start with HAWICK…. A staffie x found Monday ..the owner called while I was driving on Monday and I txted (after stopping safely) to say there dog was with us and go to the Centre as there were people there to give dog out .. No one appeared.

Next dog is a Staffie male, dark brown… this dog is well looked after and was “found” in Allers Crescent Hawick.

Now moving  to Galashiels……. A Labrador dog was found at the Swimming Pool. This dog has 2 different coloured eyes and again is well looked after ..This dog possibly stays in the Meigle View area of Gala (?) .

We have also a few lost animals …. A Jack Russell and Labrador have gone missing from there Garden nr Berwick. The owners are really upset about there dogs going missing and would like them back ..It looks like they have been taken out of their garden as both gates were still closed.

Ettrick Valley…. a small black cat has gone missing on 24th March , she has a shaved patch on her side and still has stitches in her side as she has just been speyed. Help us get her back home.

NOW we have had a lady up looking for her dogs who have disappeared into thin  air… she is very upset as the not knowing if they are safe is eating her up.

Her dogs are 2 Westies and a Doberman .. even just a telephone call so she can rest and stop looking would be enough.. How would u feel if ur animals disappeared and u couldnt find them ..

Found Galashiels.

Have you lost your cat ???

Hi everyone,

This  cat was found in Langlee, Galashiels. She is a long haired tortieshell and is friendly, well fed and seems to have been kept in good condition.

Also we have a 5month old rabbit and his 5 month old Guinea pig for rehoming. They must stay together as they eat, sleep , everything together and the guinea pig panics if the rabbit goes to far from him, I could not get them both in a foto so here is two , but as i said they must be rehomed together.

Hi, Yesterday was a very windy wet day , James had a visit from his new owners, I think if he keeps progressing the way he is he will be going away in a couple of weeks. We will miss him lots.

Rocky the deaf rottie is in a foster home with Bob and Alison standing. He blotted his copy book in first 24hrs – he lifted his leg on the television, but was told off and hasn’t done it since. We have people doing a sponsored walk across the Forth Road Bridge on the 1st of February. Hope they raise enough money for his operation.

Our wee kitten with the bad legs is ruling the roost around here, He has had his first vaccination and 2nd one is due on tuesday. he has a lot of character and is learning to respect the older cats.

Hi, My name is Katie, I arrived at Arthurshiel 3 weeks ago. I was born on a farm nr Lilliesleaf. My brother is ok and has a home but I had a form of rickets and couldn’t walk properly.  Now 3 weeks later, I have mastered the art of walking ,my front legs are straight and hold my weight , the back ones are catching up.I play every day with shona, she cuddles me and tells me she loves me, I think I am moving into the house this weekend , because my brother is going to a new home. These pictures are of me when I arrived and now.
